Chicken Pox

On the 7th, I panicked when I received a phone call from hubby at 3am telling me that Darius is 38.80! I was sleeping over at JPMC to give mum company so I suggested both my D's to come to emergency. However, they decided to give bb paracetamol to see how the condition went. Another round of back ache after I sprint out from the couch when I heard the news. And of course another sleepless night till the next day, the doctor confirmed it was Chicken Pox. No blisters in the mouth, phew!

He got his chicken pox on the 7th. Today is exactly 7th day and he is recovering from running nose. The pox pox are subsiding. The largest one on his eye lid is drying out. Most of the pox pox was at his buttocks, where its the steamiest area around ^^. He remained playful but cranky throughout his pox days. He got very sensitive and cranky when his uncles teased him. He missed out Mother's Day celebration service :(.

Cuz Ashley hasn't visited in awhile but I assure you this is the best time to get chicken pox hehe. Come on lah, they will get over it without noticing. So much better than having it when they are older and more conscious of the itches and discomfort. So parents, who wants their kids to have chicken pox? Your kids can visit bb within this two weeks :).
