Aftermath

Since he recovered from Chicken Pox, he came down with flu, cold and fever. It seemed like a pattern coz cuz Abbrielle went through the same. He couldn't sleep well with phlegm and nasal congestion. Neither did I. I spend most of the time in the wee hours checking on his temperature and his sleeping positions (as usual) and giving him the prescribed dosage of medicine. A doctor advises to give him paracetamol only when his fever is around 38.80. So I used twisted dry towel on his forehead and support it there throughout the morning coz he would remove the towel anytime when I were not noticing. The usual amount of porridge to be finished in two meals were finished in three. Milk intake decreased by half. He got fed up with his usual hi-tea! Had sleepless nights for a week and was very fidgety. Both my sis-in-laws said I worry to much and it wouldn't be the same if I had a second child, hehe. I agree I am too protective over him.

I am glad, he is not having anymore fever since yesterday. Its time for me to get back to track. A list of to-do waiting to be checked. A new porridge menu awaits bb. Somehow new taste buds sprouted after his chicken pox. Trying to pump him up again after the weight loss.

Before I forget, I taught him something new. He would knock his head when asked where it is. He could sit on his own last week. Exact day forgotten :(.
